| Comerford's Ocean View Efficiency Units are spacious with 600, 900, and 1200 square feet. Our Accommodations have a 3.5 Star rating. Each unit has a kitchen, one, two or three bedrooms, living room/dining area and bathroom. All bedrooms have either double or queen size beds. Housekeeping is provided. Each unit has cable television. Kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils, as well as dishes, toaster oven, microwave oven, etc. Outside there is a great view of the harbour, and Butterpot Mountain Provincial Park access to hiking trails and the Newfoundland T'Railway Park. Nearby there is an outdoor pool and golf course. Holyrood is centrally located on the Avalon Peninsula in close proximity to many points of interest, such as the Cape St. Mary's Bird Sanctuary; the Irish Loop Drive; Cape Spear, which is the most easterly point of land in Canada; Signal Hill in St John's; the Baccalieu Trail and the list goes on. It is easy to spend days sightseeing. You will have the opportunity to go on boat tours and possibly see whales; see ice bergs in May and June; see Bird Island, a bird sanctuary and see caribou as you drive along the Irish Loop, often hundreds of caribou come to the cool Atlantic breeze to get away from the heat of the wooded areas. These attractions are as close as a 15 minute drive and no farther away than a 1½ hour drive from Holyrood. Our rates are as follows: one bedroom $70.00, two bedroom $85.00 and three bedroom $99.00 based on double occupancy, $10 per additional person. Children under 12 free. Canadian currency, plus 15 % provincial/federal tax. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac and American Express.
