| The Scandic Hotel Star is located in Sollentuna, approximately 14 km north of Stockholm city centre. It is situated 28 km from the Arlanda airport, and only steps away from the Sollentuna Exhibition Centre. It is also very near Kista, 'Sweden's Silicon Valley'. The Star has 269 rooms of which 203 are 'minisuites' (it was Europe’s first minisuite-hotel when it opened New Year’s Eve 1985). A Star minisuite consists of a bedroom and a livingroom in each room, with a bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a shower cabin.
